The Kryptic bottle in all it's cryptozoological glory. This's what Tasmanian Tigers taste like. Say that 5 times fast. |
Flavor
It doesn't mention the exact flavor on the bottle, but the closest thing I can attribute the taste of Kryptic to is some kind of strawberry. The flavor is sweet and strong and is perhaps enhanced by the generous amount of mint or some other derivative of mentholy flavor.
The mint flavor is quite strong and you can definitely feel it tickle your throat, but not brain-freezing like Ice Mango Lime or Freezing Dew. I suppose you could compare Kryptic's mintiness level to the likes of Rude Beer.
Nicotine
The label says that we have 6mg of nicotine to deal with here. Compared to other juices which claim to have 6mg of nicotine, this one seems to achieve "the hit" quicker and more effectively than others.
Power Settings
I personally am unable to chain vape this juice at the standard review setting at 3.2V (20.5W at 0.5 Ohms) on the Subtank Mini due to how quickly the nicotine hits.
Toning the wattage down to 13-15W is the sweet spot for me. Vape any higher and the nicotine will get to my head causing mamak-chair-bending fatigue for the next 15 minutes.
Of course, all individuals have different nicotine tolerances so, your mileage (kilometre-age for us under the protection of the British Crown) may vary.
Overall Experience
Overall I enjoyed the Kryptic. Its strong fruity flavor with its strong minty taste is good for a "waking up" session if you're sleepy but it also may help you sleep as its nicotine hit can help you melt into the bed during those sleepless nights.
